Pool

at St. Clair Country Club

St. Clair has a unique Olympic size pool featuring both 25 yard and 25-meter lanes. The pool was completely renovated in 2002 with the addition of new locker rooms, snack bar, and a dining and viewing patio and a new heater installed in early 2025.  The Club fields a very successful youth swimming team in the Midwest Swim Conference with an outstanding coaching staff and tremendous parental support. These facilities present a great gathering place for members and their families. The Pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, 9:00am to 8:00pm, Tuesday through Sunday.

Summers at the Pool

The Swimming Pool officially opens on the Saturday before Memorial Day and closes on the Monday after Labor Day. If the weather is cold in the early days of operation, we will use our pool heater to warm the water. We also have a wading pool for the younger children. It is our hope that the pool will be a source of joy for all our members and guests throughout the summer months.  
 

Pool Hours

9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Tuesday through Sunday and Holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day) 
 

Snack Shack Hours

10:30 am to 5:00 pm

Pool Rules & Policies 

  • All members and guests swimming or lounging by the pool must register at the check in desk 
  • Guest fees are $5.00 per visit 
  • Guests will be allowed 5 pool visits per year 
  • Guests must be accompanied by a member 
  • Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times 
  • Members' grandchildren are welcome to participate on the swim team. Parents of these children are welcome to sit poolside while their children are practicing. If a parent wants to swim during this time, they need to sign the guest book, and the grandparent will be charged the $5.00 guest fee. When practice concludes, parents and non-member children will need to exit the pool.  
  • ​Illinois State Health Department laws prohibit the presence of any food or beverages on the pool deck 
  • No food or beverage, except that served by the Club, shall be allowed on the property 
  • You may order carry outs from the Clubhouse to be consumed in the designated areas at the pool (carry outs are not delivered to the pool attendees--and must be picked up at the Club front entrance) 

Swim Team

Being a member of the St. Clair Swim Team is an opportunity to be a part of a very special group of athletes. The team participates in 8 meets per year on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm with the program ending at the end of July. 
 

Practices are held Monday - Saturday 

Ages 12-18 – 9:00 am - 10:30 am 
Ages 11 and under  – 10:30 am - 12:00 pm 

Cost: $65 per swimmer for season $200 per grandchild for season 

Lane One Swim Program 

Lane One is a pre-team program designed to prepare younger swimmers for Swim Team. 

Practices are held Monday - Saturday 

Beginner - 11:45 am - 12:15 pm 
Intermediate - 11:10 - 11:45 am 
Advanced - 10:30 - 11:10 am 

$80 per member monthly 
Multiple Child Discount Available
